YOUR HOUSE

Hello!

Did you know I live in your house?
All of the time -- I'm in and out!

I slam the doors, I draw the blinds,
I search the closets, I lose my mind!

I can't help returning again and again
To relive the losses and experience the pain.

Oh, that two-bedroom, one-and-a-half bath,
How could it have made a child so sad?

But it wasn't really all glum and doom,
Holidays and summertime brought some fun, too!

Oh, yes -- I live in your little house there;
In the law of dreams, there's nothing like ouster.
But don't think I like it!
It just makes me sick.

I go back and get all uptight and upset
In a place I'd like to just forget!

Your house!
